This privacy policy applies to the Traveler's VPN app (hereby referred to as "Application") for iPhone, iPad, and Mac, created by Supra Applications Inc (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Commercial service. It explains what information the Application and its supporting services handle, and what they deliberately do not. The service is intended for use "AS IS".
Traveler's VPN has no user accounts. There is no signup, no name, no email address, and no password. You can use the Application in two ways, and they have different data footprints:
1. Bring your own server. The Application runs entirely on your device and connects to a server you supply. Nothing about your use is sent to the Service Provider.
2. Managed server (a monthly subscription or a 7-day travel pass). The Service Provider sets up and runs a private VPN server for you, which needs the limited information described below.
In bring-your-own-server mode, the Application does not obtain, transmit, or store any information about you. Your server details stay on your device, and are only ever synced between your own devices if you choose to turn on the built-in cloud sync. Everything happens on your device.
In managed-server mode, to set up and run a server for you, the Service Provider handles a small amount of information:
• A random identifier tied to your purchase. It is used only to know which server is yours. It is not your name or email, and it cannot be used to contact you.
• Whether your plan is active. Whether your subscription or pass is current, and when it expires, so the Service Provider knows you may use a server. Payment is handled entirely through the app store; the Service Provider never receives your payment card or billing details.
• The server set up for you. The region you choose and the server set up for you there, so the Application can connect to it.
• Notifications (optional). If you allow notifications, the Service Provider keeps only what is needed to let you know when your server is ready. You can decline notifications and the Application still works.
No. The Application does not collect the location of your device. The server region you pick is a preference you choose, not a measurement of where you are.
In bring-your-own-server mode, your traffic only ever travels through the server you configured. It never touches the Service Provider's infrastructure.
In managed-server mode, like any VPN, a managed server passes your internet traffic along so the service can work. The Service Provider does not look at, record, or sell the contents of your traffic or a history of the sites you visit. Only the amount of data used is measured, so that your data allowance can be applied.
In bring-your-own-server mode, no data is collected, so none is shared. In managed-server mode the Service Provider relies on a small number of trusted providers acting on its behalf: the app store that handles your payment and delivers notifications, and the hosting providers that run the service and the private server set up for you. The Service Provider does not sell your information to anyone.
When a subscription or travel pass ends, the private server set up for you is deleted. Because there is no account, you can stop all data handling by not purchasing a managed plan, or by cancelling one you have. To request deletion of the limited records linked to your random identifier, email [email protected].
You can stop all information handling by uninstalling the Application and, if you use a managed plan, cancelling it through the app store. Bring-your-own-server mode collects nothing to opt out of.
The Application is not used to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.
The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. The Service Provider encourages all children to never submit any personally identifiable information through the Application and/or Services. The Service Provider encourage parents and legal guardians to monitor their children's Internet usage and to help enforce this Policy by instructing their children never to provide personally identifiable information through the Application and/or Services without their permission. If you have reason to believe that a child has provided personally identifiable information to the Service Provider through the Application and/or Services, please contact the Service Provider ([email protected]) so that they will be able to take the necessary actions. You must also be at least 16 years of age to consent to the processing of your personally identifiable information in your country (in some countries we may allow your parent or guardian to do so on your behalf).
The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information and takes reasonable measures to protect the limited information described above. The private servers set up for managed plans are kept locked down and are deleted when no longer needed. No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, however, so the Service Provider cannot guarantee absolute security.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes to their Privacy Policy by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.
This privacy policy is effective as of 2026-06-08
By using the Application, you are consenting to the processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by the Service Provider.
If you have any questions regarding privacy while using the Application, or have questions about the practices, please contact the Service Provider via email at [email protected].
